Brian Beausoleil

I have been painting at a professional level for 35+ years. My first artistic inspirations were that of Walt Disney. I was born in Putnam, Connecticut. My adventure in art started at the age of 5. After graduation from High school I served in the US Navy. For a brief time prior to my enlistment into the Navy, I studied at the Art Instructions Schools and later after the Navy I earned an Associates of Fine Art from Highline College. I have studied for 6 years under the instruction of artist Mike Casad who continues to be my mentor and close friend. I studied animation with a former Disney animator, Thomas Cook for 2 years. I worked at the Boeing company for 30 years as a program developer for flight training. Also as portrait artist for Royal Aeronautical Society for 15 years, from which I was given the honor in 2013 of “Royal Artist for the Seattle branch”.

I move to paint with a strong story to my work, that has a certain beauty and storybook pleasure. My hope is that each painting will reach the viewer on more than a superficial level and touch something deeper inside. I want people to have a feeling inside they will never forget.
