Harold has been painting full time professionally since the late 60’s. Harold is best known for the “America the Beautiful” series sponsored by the National Parks and Conservation Association and produced by the Bradford Exchange. Shows include Arts for the Parks-National Parks, shown in the Great Hall of the Smithsonian, National Audubon Show, National Wilderness Show, Pacific Rim Wildlife show, Maritime Show at the Coos Art Museum as well as the International Marine Art Exhibition in Mystic Seaport. His paintings are in many collections and he has won many national and international awards. His work has sold for as high as $27,000.
Art groups include, life member of Puget Sound Group of Northwest Painters, Pacific Rim Institute of Marine Art as well as many others.
