Jim was born in Hamilton, Montana and studied at the Art Center College of Design of Los Angeles and has 15 years experience as a professional freelance illustrator. His work has been commissioned by the Smithsonian Institution, the National Football League, The White House and US Postal Service as well as numerous leading motion picture studios and national corporations. Jim is a member of the prestigious Northwest Rendezvous Group of Artists, the California Art Club and Plein Air Painters of Washington.
