Michael Casad

I was born in Bremerton, Washington on August 16, 1941. I lived in San Francisco, California. My education there poised me for the rest of my life in art.

In 1960, I joined the United States Army. After the service, I lived in Los Angles and developed my ability to draw and paint. I worked with many corporations on images and paintings to communicate their structure.

I moved to the Northwest in 1964 and worked with the Boeing Company as a primary illustrator.

I taught eleven years graduate-level illustration and painting as well as figure drawing at The Burnley School of Professional Art.

I have been a painter from 1963 to the present, 2020.
